Tracy Luke, Founding Chair of the Local Governing Body
I am delighted to have been given this opportunity to be involved with the first new secondary school to open in Folkestone in a decade and I look forward to supporting it from the outset to achieve success without selection.
I am especially delighted that I will be working with Krissy Yates, as Principal and Dr Jo Saxton, as CEO. I have huge confidence in both of these key leaders at Turner and know that their impact will be a massively positive one for children in Folkestone.
Turner Schools CEO Dr Jo Saxton says:
We are so privileged to have Tracy Luke as our founding Chair of the Local Governing Body at Turner Free School – she brings a depth of knowledge and understanding of running excellent schools in both the selective and non-selective sectors. Tracy will be integral in supporting us to deliver our vision of “a grammar school for everyone.”
Principal Designate Kristina Yates says:
I am delighted that Tracy Luke will lead the Local Governing Body for the Turner Free School. Her wealth of knowledge and experience will be invaluable as we open our brand new school, which will ensure success without selection for all our scholars. Tracy’s incredible successes in local education are well known and I look forward to working with her to deliver a powerful education for our first group of scholars in September.
